Read for fun and prizes!

Keep your brain active this summer by participating in Utica Public Library's Summer Reading Program! Participants of all ages have the chance to earn prizes when they read from June 17 - July 27. Stretch your muscles and reach your goal! Join us for the Summer Reading Kickoff with KABOOMISTRY with the Michigan Science Center on June 15, 2019 at 1pm. Universe of Stories

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Kids register for the summer reading program at the library between June 1 and July 15.      (To register for summer reading, participants must fill out the registration form, or register online then visit the library in person to pick up a summer reading kit from the librarian.)
  • Read at least 100 minutes per week. Record minutes read on the log and chart. 
  • Complete activities on the Activity Bingo sheet. 
  • Attend free events at the library throughout the summer to earn entry tickets for grand prizes.  
  • Return reading records and activity sheets weekly to the library to get stamped and win weekly prizes from June 17 - July 27.

** You must be enrolled in the Summer Reading Program to be eligible for awards and prizes.**
